Job Opportunity

Ventia is seeking a skilled mechanical expert to join our asset management team at the BlueScope Port Kembla Steelworks. If you have experience with pressure vessels, pipelines, and plant shutdowns, this could be your chance to showcase your expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and reporting on asset condition.
  • Supporting asset improvement coordinators with daily tasks.
  • Scoping and planning maintenance, shutdowns, and breakdowns.
  • Creating work orders in SAP.
  • Participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Collaborating with multi-discipline teams.
Requirements
  • Mechanical trade qualification or higher.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude and pride in work quality.
  • Experience in similar roles or readiness to take the next step.
  • New South Wales driver's license and computer literacy.
  • Passion for improvement and effective communication.
