Opportunity exists for a highly skilled trade qualified individual to join our team in a mechanical fitting role.


Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work within the Defence industry as a key player supporting the Australian Defence Force across multiple locations nationwide.


  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment;
  • Diagnose and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment;
  • Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment;
  • Support subcontracted work packages as required;
  • Support various sites in the region with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NSW.

Requirements
  • Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience;
  • Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas;
  • Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded;
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded;
  • Safety is paramount in all aspects of the job;
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
