The Opportunity:

Schneider Electric's Digital Buildings business is transforming the way we support our customers by taking a digital approach to building management, reducing energy use by 30%, cutting capital expenditures, decreasing operating expenditures, and improving overall business performance. At the core of our services is our cloud-based analytical engine, Building Advisor, which uses Automated Fault Detection & Diagnostics (AFDD) technologies. The Building Performance Engineer position focuses on working with customers to drive operational and energy efficiencies across multiple client sites in Victoria.

The Day-to-Day:

• Carry out analysis of analytics platforms, investigating and allocating tasks for field staff, identifying and resolving issues, and following up to ensure satisfactory completion.
• Action customer reporting and improvement suggestions.
• Attend meetings with customers and account teams to present findings and performance reports.
• Review building management systems, operational data, and energy data to identify opportunities to increase building efficiency and NABERS ratings.
• Identify the latest energy efficiency and energy management technologies and create new controls strategies to best suit customers' needs to achieve the highest possible energy efficiency.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated analytics or advanced BMS background with three years of experience in a field service technician role.
• Experience working with BMS-related controls such as BACnet, MODbus, and LONWorks.
• Ability to co-ordinate different internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
• Comfortable with travelling to multiple client sites, including some rural Victorian locations.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and highly proficient with MS Office.
• Strong time management and personal administration skills.
• Desire to build a long-term career by learning and developing technical knowledge and skills.
• Energy metering and reporting experience.
• IT proficient with experience in programming, IP configuration, and fault finding with network routers, switches, and network hardware.
• High level of customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
