About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Cost Manager to join our team and work on significant infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing invoices, receipts and expense reports in accounting systems.
  • Tracking project costs against budgets and preparing variance reports.
  • Assisting with accounts payable/receivable and month-end procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of labour, materials and subcontractor expenses by project.
  • Preparing financial reports and budget support documentation.
  • Supporting audit preparations and compliance requirements.
  • Verifying contractor invoices and ensuring smooth cash flow forecasting.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Accounting, relevant cost control experience and proficiency in project management tools.

What you'll need to succeed
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Accounting.
  • Cost control experience with understanding of budget analysis, quantity capturing, and similar responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as P6, Prism, Vision CPM, or similar controlling software.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar role.
