Effective project management plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with key requirements, efficient cost control, and successful execution of remediation projects.

The Senior Project Manager position involves coordinating direct labour and subcontractors, reporting on project progress, and conducting regular meetings. This role also entails providing expert advice on technical and engineering matters, liaising closely with clients to ensure project adherence to schedule, participating in tendering and estimation processes, and visiting mine sites to support teams.

About the Position

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ensure effective cost control and efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors.
  • Report on project progress and conduct regular meetings.
  • Provide expert advice on technical and engineering matters.
  • Liaise closely with clients to ensure project adherence to schedule.

About You

You are a results-driven leader with approximately 5 years of on-site management experience, including:

  • Experience in mining, plant maintenance, and shutdowns.
  • Ability to coordinate and deliver complex shutdowns.
  • Strong programme and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and controlling costs.

Key Qualifications And Requirements

  • White Card.
  • Driver's License.
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering.
