Exciting Opportunity for a Research and Development Leader

This is a fixed term, full-time position at the Murrumbidgee Irrigation corporate office in Griffith, NSW.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $102,582 - $116,115 (plus 17% superannuation), based on a level 8 classification.

You will work closely with Charles Sturt University's Academic Project Lead to facilitate the successful delivery of hub-based One Basin Cooperative Research Centre programs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing partner engagement leadership throughout the designated Hub region
  • Leading logistical and administrative support for researchers delivering One Basin CRC projects
  • Providing operational management leadership to One Basin CRC students, interns, researchers, and staff

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities to maximise participation outcomes for research organisations and government/industry partners
  • Proficient organisational capabilities, including the ability to build collaborative relationships with tact and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Proven experience in organising and delivering stakeholder workshops and events
