Achieve success as a skilled Lead Mechanical Design Professional in our organization. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in mechanical engineering and the ability to lead teams and manage projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design options and project schedules, providing clients with optimal solutions.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information on existing conditions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality construction drawings and calculations within AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Evaluate and analyze quality control review data to ensure final documents meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary activities and facilitate reviews/approvals between disciplines and agencies.

We require a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 10+ years of relevant experience on Higher Ed, Municipal, K-12, and Commercial projects.

The ideal candidate must also be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina or have the ability to obtain their PE in North Carolina within 6 months.
