Ambulance Service Operations Director

This leadership role requires a highly motivated and experienced senior professional with a strong background in healthcare. The successful applicant will possess:
- Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical discipline (medicine, paramedicine, or similar)
- Extensive experience in ambulance service operations, including delivery of high-quality care and patient services
- Strong working knowledge and experience of state-wide telecommunications technology and communications
- Proven expertise in advancing clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- A high level of communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Coaching, mentoring, and leadership approach to managing a large, diverse workforce
The ideal candidate will be able to drive integration and innovation across the division, enhance patient care, and maintain a safe, respectful workplace culture.
About the RoleThis leadership position plays a vital role in delivering direct specialist care, clinical advice, and retrieval services to the community. As a key member of the executive team, this role is pivotal in enabling the division to achieve its goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Foster collaboration and partnerships with external stakeholders to advance clinical knowledge and practice
• Lead and manage a large, diverse team to deliver high-quality care and patient services
