Freight Service Coordinator

Liaise with multiple teams and stakeholders to oversee the efficient allocation of services and equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate freight and deliveries
- Manage warehouse operations and stock control
- Lead staff by example and provide hands-on guidance
- Monitor compliance with fatigue, mass, and maintenance requirements
- Ensure safe workplace conduct and enforce business processes
- Plan and build loads according to customer needs
- Evaluate and optimize resource allocation and equipment usage
Requirements:
- Flexibility in work hours, including weekends as needed
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry
- Possession of or ability to obtain fatigue risk management qualification (preferred)
- Effective leadership and staff management skills
- Strong customer focus and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of metropolitan and regional freight networks
