Financial Systems Specialist

Position Overview
The Financial Systems division is tasked with deploying innovative technologies and maintaining existing solutions that facilitate our Financial Planning and Sales Compensation (SC) operations. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in supporting analytical systems in a dynamic environment.
This role involves close collaboration with our Finance and SC departments, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance. The individual will play a crucial role in the development, enhancement, and upkeep of Finance/SC Systems.
Essential Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, with a preference for a focus in Analytics or Business (such as Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration).
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in financial system management, configuration, or development is required.
A solid understanding of relational and multi-dimensional database frameworks is essential.
Proficiency in Excel, particularly in financial and operational modeling, is necessary for validating configurations.
Experience in Sales Compensation, financial reporting, or project management is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business systems support for the Xactly Sales Compensation financial system, including the development and testing of Sales Compensation plans and overall system maintenance.
- Oversee the configuration, testing, and implementation of Sales Compensation plans within Xactly Incent, including the creation of reports and dashboards in collaboration with the Sales Compensation team.
- Assist in the implementation of new sales compensation plans by gathering and documenting processes, determining overall design and system integrations, and testing components.
- Engage with various stakeholders across the organization, including finance, accounting, internal IT, and BI/EPM support teams.
- Act as a representative of the Financial Systems team to enhance the use of technology for automating manual tasks and improving processes, while minimizing redundancies and inefficiencies.
- Support Financial Systems Management on additional initiatives as they arise.
Role Requirements:
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience with Xactly is highly preferred; familiarity with enterprise analytical systems is required.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- A willingness and aptitude to learn new systems and technical skills is necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively interact with technical and business professionals across the organization.
- A solid understanding of financial and compensation terminology and processes is important.
