As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of our company, ensuring accurate processing, reporting, and compliance across various accounts and financial activities.

The role involves:

  • Financial Transaction Processing: Daily processing of financial and general account transactions, including electronic funds transfers, disbursements, and bank reconciliations.
  • Trust Account Management: Manage and process trust account daily transactions.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Receipting payments from debtors and processing bills for payment.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, including updates and necessary adjustments.
  • Petty Cash Management: Maintain petty cash and reimburse petty cash for all offices.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Preparing and entering budgets for various departments and projects, and performing end-of-month closing procedures, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).

To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate:

  • Aligned bookkeeping experience, preferably in trust accounts.
  • Confidence in learning and using finance systems, with sound skills in MS Office.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Accurate keyboarding skills.
  • Availability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
