Supply Chain Solutions Account Manager

About the Role:

The Account Manager will play a crucial part in the sales and business development of the Supply Chain Solutions business, primarily focusing on the sale of returnable crates and bins.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager - Supply Chain Solutions, you will be responsible for managing major key accounts in the Bakery, Protein, Seafood, and Dairy industries, with a focus on:

  • Establishing long-lasting relationships with decision-makers in all key accounts
  • Forecasting and working closely with operations and customer service to ensure supply continuity
  • Strategy positioning of selling price, selling structure, and gross contribution
  • Budgets and financial performance of key accounts

About You:

We are looking for individuals who will thrive in a dynamic environment and can inspire enthusiasm in our customers. A technical mindset, supply chain experience, and an understanding of lead times, forecasting, and sales planning will be essential in this role.

You will also bring:

  • Demonstrated success in a similar Account Management role with experience working toward KPIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong people skills with the ability to build new and lasting relationships
  • Excellent accountability – you can work autonomously and manage time independently
  • An appetite for knowing all about your business services and your competition to provide you with the leverage of competitive advantage
  • Experience in FMCG, packaging, or plastics is desirable but not required
