The Opportunity

With strong growth in our Remanufacturing division, our Brisbane branch has an exciting opportunity for a workshop-based HD Fitter to join the team on the afternoon shift (2pm – 10pm). In this role, you will focus on the overhaul of minor and major hydraulic and mechanical components on various equipment lines.

Based in Wacol, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while building a long-term career in a global company.

Requirements

  • Embrace, display, and drive the HCA Safety Culture from within - safety takes priority over everything else.
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Mobile Plant, Fitter Machinist or Heavy Diesel trade qualifications.
  • Light Motor Mechanics looking for a jump into Mining & Construction equipment also encouraged to apply.
  • Have previous experience with the overhaul, repair, and remanufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components.
  • Have an understanding of Mining, Earthmoving, and/or Construction equipment.
  • Be able to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults.
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Having experienced in a production line style workshop would be advantageous.
