Job Summary

The Animal Emergency Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to animals and their families. This dynamic individual will collaborate with specialists to provide gold-standard intensive care to critical patients in the ICU.

This is an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as a Veterinary Technician Specialist (Emergency & Critical Care) candidate. The successful individual will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience as a qualified nurse in emergency, ICU, or referral medicine
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct laboratory samples for analysis
  • Experience in CPR resuscitation efforts and assisting with admissions and discharges from the ICU

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Critical Care Specialists to deliver intensive care to critical patients
  • Assist with or perform advanced interventions, including placement of central lines, arterial pressure monitoring, urinary catheter placement, feeding tube placement, and mechanical ventilation
  • Support the emergency department with triage and procedural responsibilities
