Emergency Care Specialist Job Opportunity

This role presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated and compassionate veterinary technician to work in our 24/7 emergency and critical care department.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with critical care specialists to provide high-quality intensive care to patients in the ICU setting.
  • Assist with advanced interventions such as placement of central lines, arterial lines, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Participate in CPR resuscitation efforts and assist with admissions and discharges from the ICU.
  • Conduct laboratory sample collection and assist with transfer of critical care referrals.
  • Support the emergency department with triage and procedural responsibilities.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ongoing or nearly completed Veterinary Technician Specialist (Emergency & Critical Care) certification.
  • A minimum of five years' full-time experience as a qualified nurse.
  • Previous experience in Emergency, ICU, or referral medicine is highly desirable.
