Freight Coordinator Job Description

The Freight Coordinator plays a vital role in coordinating the movement of goods from production sites to consumers and businesses nationwide.

About this Role:
  • This position is responsible for organizing deliveries across long haul and air freight networks, ensuring timely delivery and communication with logistics partners to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Responsible for overseeing dispatch operations from our central site, adhering to established procedures and checks to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Keen on updating logistics partners on company updates, reminders, and regulatory requirements that need attention.
  • In charge of managing daily movements, conducting regular inventory counts, and reporting stock levels to stakeholders.
  • Supports production and procurement teams to maintain smooth site operations.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in our logistics system.
