The Transitional Aged Care Program is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering client-centred care that supports older people in achieving their goals for recovery, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide evidence-based care and exercise sound professional judgment in clinical decision-making, with support from senior clinicians as required.
- Support mobility, falls prevention, pain management, and functional recovery for clients in both community and residential settings.
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes and service delivery.
- Promote collaboration within the multidisciplinary team and liaise with government agencies to ensure clients receive comprehensive, coordinated care.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Current Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated understanding of aged care needs, including mobility support, falls prevention strategies, pain management, and functional recovery
- Ability to work across sites
