As an Occupational Therapist within our Transitional Aged Care Program, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care that supports clients in achieving their goals for recovery, independence, and quality of life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing evidence-based care and exercising sound professional judgment in clinical decision-making">
  • Supporting mobility, falls prevention, pain management, and functional recovery for clients in both community and residential settings">
  • Actively participating in ongoing professional development, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives">
  • Contributing to the professional network of your discipline and engaging in opportunities for education, training, and clinical research activities">
  • Promoting collaboration within the multidisciplinary team and liaising with government agencies to ensure clients receive comprehensive, coordinated care">

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy">
  • Current Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA">
  • Demonstrated understanding of aged care needs, including mobility support, falls prevention strategies, pain management, and functional recovery">
  • Ability to work across sites within our health district">
