Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centered care and support to individuals in their daily lives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with people of varying needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and daily activities in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Provide positive behavior support and engage clients in meaningful activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation through shift notes, incident reporting, and data collection.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve outstanding outcomes for clients.
  • Work closely with supervisors to develop and review client plans.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and adhere to industry standards and codes of conduct.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification).
  • Mental health experience and trauma-informed practice.
  • Problem-solving skills and complex behavior management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as relationship-building skills.
