HiTech Group is collaborating with one of Australia's leading Federal Government departments to recruit multiple Computational Support Specialists with diverse skill sets across various platforms. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, Machine Learning, or Product Facilitation, along with experience in a variety of computational research areas. The positions are available for candidates located in different regions.

The selected Computational Support Specialists will undertake responsibilities including:

  • Implementing, managing, and optimizing Machine Learning operations to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements for forthcoming service needs
  • Overseeing cloud-based research initiatives with a strong emphasis on Cyber Security
  • Creating and deploying Virtual Machine templates and automated provisioning processes

Ideal candidates for the Computational Support Specialist roles will possess:

  • Strong skills in managing relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, investigations, and reverse engineering
  • A comprehensive understanding of ICT technologies, including hardware platforms, storage solutions, Linux, and Windows environments
  • Experience in user engagement, solution specification, and service management

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and supportive team within a leading Federal Government Agency. Successful candidates will be offered a 12-month contract with the possibility of 2 additional 12-month extensions.
