Grain Quality Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily safety meetings to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties in accordance with Bunge's code of conduct and quality standards.
  • Complete tasks assigned by supervisor, including Take 5, Job Hazard Analysis, and confined space permits.
  • Sample and analyze incoming grains, identifying defects and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Enter data into the CSM application and monitor weighbridge data capture.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, and liaise with growers and clients regarding quality issues.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of laboratory and sampling areas.
  • Prepare and store audit samples, and conduct analysis in accordance with GIWA and Bunge standards.
  • Develop knowledge of terminal procedures, processes, and policies.
  • Hold a valid Western Australian C-class driver's license.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, and possess advanced computer skills.
  • Understand internal procedures, processes, and policies.

Education and Qualifications:

  • DAWR Authorized Officer accreditation (desirable).
  • High level of interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, communication, and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within parameters.
  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
