Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the Smart Scales bulk handling system, ensuring accurate grain tonnage tracking.
  • Monitor the Bunge site via the closed-circuit camera system for potential hazards and take corrective action as needed.
  • Manage shipping operations from the CSM computer system, controlling tonnage rates and inspecting trends.
  • Operate Telehandler lifting equipment, perform tasks at heights, and provide spotting services.
  • Maintain site hygiene at fixed plant and other work areas, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct Job Hazard Analysis and confined space permits, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Test and implement Lock Out and Tag Out procedures for equipment maintenance.
  • Attend daily safety pre-start meetings to discuss site-specific hazards and protocols.
  • Comply with OH&S, HR, and Quality policies and procedures, as well as Bunge's code of conduct.
  • Assist the maintenance team at Bunge sites in Bunbury, Arthur River, and Kukerin.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of terminal operations, including fixed plant and mobile equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date on terminal procedures, processes, and policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge and Technical Competencies:
  • Essential: Valid Western Australian C class driver's license.
  • Desirable: High Risk Work training, including Forklift & Dogman, Confined Gas testing ticket, Lock Out Tag Out ticket, and Working at heights ticket.
Education / Experience:
  • High level of interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, communication, and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within parameters of instructions, routines, and standard practices.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
