Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grain Receival Operator to join our team at Bunge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient receipt and storage of grain at our facilities.

  • Operate and maintain the Smart Scales bulk handling system, ensuring accurate and timely updates of grain tonnes.
  • Monitor and respond to hazards on site, utilizing the closed-circuit camera system to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Run shipping operations from the CSM computer system, controlling tonnage rates and inspecting trends to optimize grain handling and storage.
  • Operate Telehandler lifting equipment, working at heights tasks, and provide spotting services as required.
  • Maintain site hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to fixed plant and work area standards.
  • Complete Job Hazard Analysis permits and confined space permits, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Test and implement Lock Out and Tag Out procedures for equipment maintenance.
  • Attend daily safety pre-start meetings, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Adhere to OH&S, HR, and Quality policies and procedures, as well as Bunge's Code of Conduct.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team at Bunge sites in Bunbury, Arthur River, and Kukerin.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of operations, including fixed plant and mobile equipment.
  • Develop expertise in terminal procedures, processes, and policies.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge and Technical Competencies

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Essential: A valid Western Australian C class driver's license.
  • Desirable: High Risk Work training, including Forklift & Dogman, Confined Gas testing ticket, Lock Out Tag Out ticket, and Working at heights ticket.
Education and Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
