We are seeking an experienced Music Educator to lead the String section of our dynamic Music department. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for music education and be able to further develop and innovate in our rigorous music program.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position, requiring a commencement date as soon as possible. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the musical experiences of our students.
Our Music DepartmentMusic at our institution is exceptionally strong, with healthy numbers studying elective music and completing the Higher School Certificate or IB Diploma Programme. Our students participate in numerous co-curricular ensembles across four areas:
- Choral
- Strings
- Brass, Woodwind, Percussion
- Contemporary
- Further develop and lead the Strings program
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students of all levels
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Contribute to the broader co-curricular life of the school
