Music Instructor Position

We seek an accomplished Music Teacher who can contribute to our creative arts faculty. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing music programs that foster high achievement among students.

The role involves working closely with the faculty to design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. This position requires a dedicated professional who can provide pastoral care to students through regular house tutor groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach music across various stages of the National Curriculum.
  • Deliver effective and innovative teaching practices reflecting the college's Christian ethos.
  • Manage curriculum requirements, including lesson planning, assessment, and reporting.
  • Implement college protocols and strategies.
  • Support extracurricular activities of the college.

Details of Employment:

  • Directly responsible to the Head of Creative Arts.
  • Also accountable to the Deputy Principal Senior School and the Principal.
  • Normal teaching load is 47 fifty-minute periods per fortnightly cycle, including sport, plus house tutor duties.
