We are seeking a casual team member to assist in the delivery of nutritious and well-presented meals to our residents.

About the Role

As a Food Services Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the creation of a friendly and welcoming dining experience for our residents. You will work under the direction of the Chef or Cook to ensure that meals are delivered on time and meet the high standards of quality and hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in residential aged care food services and be able to demonstrate a passion for providing excellent customer service. A current National Police Certificate and completion of a Food Handling Course (or ability to acquire) are also essential requirements for this role.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with menu planning to meet residents' needs and preferences.
  • Prepare, serve, present, and deliver food and refreshments in line with our Food Safety Program.
  • Carry out general cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Monitor and record food safety requirements such as temperatures and receipting goods.
  • Ensure meals and refreshments are delivered in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Report any concerns related to food or beverages to the Registered Nurse in Charge.
