Operational Excellence Leader

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operational framework, streamlining processes and systems to drive efficiency and productivity across key business functions.

  • Lead internal operations across teams and departments, aligning people, systems, and processes for smooth execution.
  • Oversee project resourcing, utilisation, and capacity planning to ensure optimal delivery.
  • Implement practical solutions to improve time tracking, invoicing, and internal reporting systems.
  • Drive coordination between delivery, support, finance, and admin functions, fostering a high-performing culture.
  • Maintain high visibility over commercial performance and margin protection, identifying process bottlenecks and delivery risks.
  • Support hiring and onboarding in collaboration with HR, creating a cohesive operational environment where performance and collaboration thrive.
About You

You are a seasoned operations leader with strong experience managing internal functions in a service-based or project-driven business. Your strengths include:

  • Senior-level experience in operations or business management roles, with a proven track record of implementing structure and scalable workflows.
  • Understanding of project delivery and service-based revenue models, as well as proficiency in project/resource tools, Excel, and internal reporting.
  • A people-first leadership style, hands-on, approachable, and outcomes-driven, with strong commercial acumen and financial oversight.
  • Familiarity with ISO, WHS, and compliance frameworks, which is advantageous but not essential.
