About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to lead a team and drive technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of control systems engineers
  • Design, program, and commission PLC and SCADA systems for industrial applications
  • Manage multiple projects from planning to completion, ensuring quality and deadlines are met
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and solutions
  • Support urgent breakdowns and troubleshoot control system issues when required
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes and project delivery
  • Contribute to proposals, estimates, and technical documentation
About You
  • Degree or trade qualification in electrical, mechatronics, or control systems engineering (or similar)
  • Extensive experience in a senior or lead control systems engineering role within mining or heavy industry
  • Strong skills in programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs and Citect SCADA (or equivalent)
  • Confident leading teams while remaining hands-on with technical work
  • Practical, proactive, and motivated to help grow a business
