Drive Strategic People Initiatives

As a People Strategist at Zip Co, you will play a critical role in driving our world-class people strategy. This includes partnering with senior leaders to develop high-performing teams, providing expert advice on complex employee matters, and owning and supporting people programs that enable us to continuously improve as an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic people initiatives to drive business outcomes
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop high-performing teams and provide expert advice on complex employee matters
  • Own and support people programs that enable us to continuously improve as an organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational change and growth

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in People & Culture and HR roles of increasing responsibility
  • Specific experience supporting senior leaders as a senior people partner or HRBP
  • Proven experience across the whole employee lifecycle, including leadership development, organization design and development, talent management, remuneration & benefits, performance management, and employment relations
  • Track record in delivering successful and impactful people programs across a broad range of areas
  • Strong experience in building relationships with and influencing diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems and communicate ideas in a structured and engaging way
  • In-depth knowledge of employment relations, legislation, and statutory requirements to meet the changing needs of our workforce
  • Experience leveraging data and insights to continually improve programs of work
  • Passion for working as part of a high-performing team who are constantly looking for ways to improve
  • Experience in a tech or product company, or supporting technology functions in a corporate is a plus
  • Aptitude for identifying and managing risks
