Electrical Fitting Role

Hitachi Construction Machinery is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Fitter to join our Service Department.

This role involves performing high voltage electrical services, maintenance and repairs on Electric Drive Hitachi Dump Trucks and other earthmoving plant components.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Certificate III in Electrical Fitting and a current driver's license
  • Technical expertise in high OEM level understanding of Dump trucks and High Voltage electrical fault finding & diagnosis on AC & DC Motors
  • Excellent customer focus and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with initiative and plan work fronts efficiently and effectively
