**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Coordinator to join our organization. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safe and cost-effective management of our Heavy Haulage fleet's movements.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Coordinate and schedule the movement of our fleet, consisting of company and subcontracted drivers & vehicles

- Conduct site inspections and wharf attendance (MSIC card advantageous)

- Assist with ad-hoc requirements, including quotation overflow, cost review, and invoicing

- Provide backup support for operations managers and supervisors during leave periods

- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Meet weekly safety, administrative, and financial key performance indicators

- Ensure a safe working environment by reporting any incidents or concerns to the line manager or immediate supervisor

- Optimize the distribution and collection of freight while ensuring its safe, cost-effective, and reliable delivery

- Verify that subcontractors comply with Centurion requirements, including fatigue management

- Implement best practices for configuration and maintenance

- Promote a culture of Think Safe, Act Safe within the organization

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

- Experience in fleet coordination and management

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- High level of organizational and time management skills

- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
