Senior Fleet Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fleet Manager to lead and manage our fleet management projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, fleet leasing, and staff supervision.

About the Role:

The Senior Fleet Manager will be responsible for coordinating major leased motor vehicle projects across the department. This includes liaising with internal and external stakeholders, developing effective networks, and providing high-quality written and oral advice on changes in legislation and policies related to leased motor vehicles, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate fleet management projects to achieve effective operational and resource management outcomes.
  • Rationalize fleets to drive efficiencies in cost and implement strategies that meet business needs.
  • Analyze leased motor vehicle utilization to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop business cases, reports, submissions, briefings, and correspondence to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management or fleet leasing.
  • Understanding of vehicle makes/model and general fit-out knowledge.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget and financial principles.
