Azure Cloud Solutions Architect

Drive customer adoption of cloud services by designing and implementing solutions that meet customer needs.

About the Role
  • Job Summary: Collaborate with customers to identify candidate workloads, design solutions, run proofs-of-concept, and move customers into active consumption of cloud-based products.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Customer Engagement: Provide technical expertise on cloud services offered by NetApp and Azure.
    2. Solution Design: Design solutions that include software systems, cloud platform, and professional services.
    3. Presentation: Present at customer and partner briefings, sales meetings, and corporate events.
    4. Proof-of-Concept: Design and run proofs-of-concept to illustrate solution fit within the customer's environment.
    5. Handover: Handover new customer wins to Professional Services and/or Customer Success.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship: Mandatory due to the nature of the work.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Initiative: Personal initiative required, with minimal supervision.
Desirable Skills
  • Certification: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred.
  • Collaboration: Experience collaborating with customers within Retail, Banking, and Resource & Mining verticals is an advantage.
  • Priority Management: Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects concurrently is necessary.
  • Growth Mindset: Embody a growth mindset and appetite to learn and adapt to changing requirements and technology.
Education
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree plus 4-6 years of related field experience.
  • Certifications: Any Microsoft Azure Cloud Certifications are a plus; however AWS and Google Cloud skills are valuable.
