The Platform Engineering team is at the heart of our mission to empower service teams to build and run production systems seamlessly. As an experienced engineer in this field, you will be instrumental in re-architecting our platform to thrive on public, private, and hybrid clouds, enabling frequent, predictable, and high-impact changes.

To ensure the success of our world-class infrastructure, you will focus on ensuring its availability, responsiveness, and ability to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

To excel in this role, you need:

  • Strategic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to write software in a cloud infrastructure environment, utilizing tools such as Python, Go, Java, Terraform, Pulumi, CI/CD pipelines, RDBMS, No-SQL DBs, etc.
  • Proficiency in AWS services like EKS, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, VPC networking, and S3 (or equivalent cloud provider experience)
  • Familiarity with networking and security best practices in the cloud
  • Leadership skills to drive pragmatic solutions and make impactful design decisions
  • Ability to coach junior engineers and champion best practices across your team
  • Experience operating business-critical production services
  • Experience automating the creation and configuration of cloud resources and services on-demand
