At Smartsheet, we are looking for a highly skilled Revenue Operations Business Analyst to support the growth and productivity of our Worldwide Field Operations organization. This role will involve analyzing data to define our growth strategy and working closely with senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.

You Will:

  1. Develop and maintain reporting infrastructure for the Sales organization to promote more intelligent discussion at all stages of the sales funnel.
  2. Act as a business partner to Sales leaders to understand and identify essential business questions and challenges.
  3. Lead projects to develop answers and solutions to those questions and challenges as well as developing KPIs to track results.
  4. Partner with engineering, data science, and other analytics teams to build scalable analytics solutions.
  5. Present insights to executives that will drive performance improvements and establish scalable process enhancements across Sales regions.
  6. Mine large datasets, draw relevant insights, and create visualizations to summarize findings.
  7. Analyze and monitor data for anomalies (recognizing trends and data quality).
  8. Guide commission and territory planning processes with analytical support.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, sciences, math, statistics, business, or economics).
  2. 5+ years of experience in an analytics role with increasing responsibility.
  3. Experience in Cloud and SaaS go-to-market (GTM).
  4. Expertise in SQL and preparing data for analysis, modeling, and visualization.
  5. Experience working with a business intelligence tool like Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  6. Experience with statistics (time series analysis, cluster analysis, multivariate analysis).
  7. Experience publishing and presenting data and findings to non-data users.

As a collaborative and motivated team member, you will play a key role in helping our Sales partners optimize their pipeline, increase retention, and close deals.
