Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting the successful execution of security and safety functions, including the operation and maintenance of CCTV, card access, burglar, and fire alarm systems at regional Light & Wonder facility locations. The position works closely with the Global Security Projects and Systems (GSPS) team to ensure compliance with the company's safety and security programs within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Security Projects and Systems Manager in global security systems, investigations, and processes.
  • Install and maintain regional security systems, including CCTV, access control, burglar, and fire alarm systems, to ensure effective operational readiness.
  • Ensure security compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Engage with external contractors, vendors, and suppliers for maintenance and construction work at company facilities.
  • Prepare written reports as needed and review team reports to ensure thorough investigations.
  • Support safety and security audits, investigations, and functions to support global risk and threat assessments.
  • Report any criminal activity observed around company facilities to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
  • Train security officers in corporate safety and security procedures and policies.
  • Monitor and ensure all life safety systems and related equipment are fully functional.
  • Collaborate with the risk team on conducting background checks on new employees, contractors, and vendors, as needed.
  • Provide new badges to new onboarding employees within the region.
  • Collaborate with global security teams and functions for program readiness.
  • Compile data and key performance indicators to drive the security management system functions.
  • Participate in the LNW duty of care program to support global traveler safety and security.
  • Support the GSPS Manager in benchmarking efforts to drive continual improvements to the global security program.
  • Support the GSPS Manager in tracking efforts for global deliveries that may not reach their intended destination.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience with global or regional security systems and programs.
  • Some college or specialized technical training, including experience with security regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge and expertise with CCTV operation (Avigilon), access control system (ProWatch), and Tyco burglar and fire systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Possess a customer service personality and ability to train subordinates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team concept.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure effective project implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess organization skills and be dependable.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 15kgs.
  • International travel may be required but limited to an as-needed basis.
