Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire our IT Infrastructure team to solve complex problems.
  • Optimize operational activities to maximize efficiency.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure the stability and security of our infrastructure.
  • Drive IT projects to completion and manage all stakeholder and vendor relationships.
  • Lead a team of four desktop support team members, and one systems engineer.

About You

  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure management.
  • Previous operations experience, or substantial IT infrastructure knowledge with a positive, forward-thinking, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading teams and driving results.
  • Passion for technology and innovation.
  • Ability to manage working with European time zones and accommodate occasional meetings that often conclude at 8pm (AEST/UTC+10).

Your Qualifications

  • Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation or greater.
  • Prince 2 methodology for Project Management.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Infrastructure teams.
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft Windows OS and VMWare vSphere/ESXi.
  • Understanding and experience working with an ERP system.
  • Knowledge of cyber security principles and enterprise-level controls.
  • Experience in vendor and contract management.
