Job Opportunity

The role of an Auto Electrician involves working under the supervision of the Engineering Manager and entails diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in various vehicles/machinery.

Candidates with a strong background in automotive electrical systems, encompassing both installation and repair experience, are preferred. They should be able to work independently and effectively troubleshoot problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the most effective course of action for diagnosing electrical issues in vehicles.
  • Install new electrical components and systems in vehicles/machinery.
  • Maintain existing electrical systems in vehicles/machinery by performing routine repairs and replacements.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on electrical systems, including battery and alternator upkeep.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Auto-electrician and relevant qualifications.
  • Proven track record of maintaining and repairing farm machinery.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of software programs used for maintenance purposes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team in a dynamic business environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt working hours to meet operational targets.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and urgent situations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of WH&S requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and alternators.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and identify issues effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
