Senior Network Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our IT Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of our network operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Work on complex assignments with significant impact, identifying opportunities for improvements in people, processes, and technology.
  • Lead and guide team members in developing methods and solving issues, monitoring and maintaining day-to-day activities to meet service levels.
  • Perform routine and health maintenance, upgrades, and performance-related activities, identifying and correcting faults in services and infrastructure.
  • Plan and execute minor infrastructure changes and business continuity tests, overseeing and supporting service supplier and manufacturer activities.
  • Proactively resolve issues before they affect service performance, engaging in problem management and support audit and compliance activities.
  • Provide on-call support and extended working hours as needed.

About You:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Network Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You should have 6+ years of relevant experience in network operations, in-depth knowledge of network services and infrastructure, and experience in large/global enterprise IT environments.

You should be familiar with ITIL-aligned Service Management and have practical experience with multi-vendor networks, including WAN, LAN, Perimeter Security, SSE, Load Balancing, Cloud Networking, and Remote Access VPN. Experience with technologies such as Software-Defined-WAN, Cloud Networking, Cloud-based Internet Security, Unified Communications, Remote Access Solutions, LAN switching, wireless LAN, Next Generation Perimeter firewalls, Application Delivery Controllers, and Identity and Access Control platforms is also essential.
