Our robust IT operation supports employees globally, with a vast network comprising over 1,000 offices, 29 data centers, 1,300 data circuits, and serving over 65,000 users. To ensure efficient operation of WSP's internal network services in the APAC Hub, we seek a talented and experienced Network Operations Specialist. This role will be part of the IT Operations team, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Operations Manager in the designated Hub. The team supports IT infrastructure operations, including network, compute, cloud, and workplace systems and services. You will manage and maintain all aspects of network operations, focusing on services within the designated Hub.

Your New Role, What's Involved?

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain network operations, ensuring high service levels.
  2. Lead team members in developing methods, techniques, and analytical approaches.
  3. Guide team members in solving complex problems and issues.
  4. Monitor and maintain day-to-day activities to align with expected service levels.
  5. Perform routine and health maintenance tasks.
  6. Manage upgrades and performance-related activities.
  7. Identify and correct faults with services and infrastructure.
  8. Plan and execute minor infrastructure moves, adds, changes, and disposals (IMACDs).
  9. Execute business continuity tests.
  10. Oversight and support of related service supplier and/or manufacturer activities.
  11. Proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect service performance.
  12. Identify improvements to enhance service levels.
  13. Engage in the problem management process.
  14. Provide technical peer review and approvals for related changes.
  15. Support audit and compliance activities.
  16. Manage and maintain related platforms.
  17. Provide on-call support and extended working hours when required.
Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in a network operations role.
  3. Extensive knowledge of network services and infrastructure.
  4. Vendor certifications not required, but proven practical experience is preferred.
  5. Experience working in large/global enterprise IT with multiple distributed branch/campus sites.
  6. Experience working within an ITIL-aligned Service Management organization.
  7. Practical experience in managing, operating, and troubleshooting large, complex, multi-vendor networks.
