Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

At Superloop, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure to ensure maximum performance and availability.
  • Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot faults to resolve escalated issues.
  • Adhere to all network security standards and best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members on technical issues and maintain current knowledge of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure seamless network operations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Telecommunications or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a networking related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 networks, ethernet switching technologies, and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
  • Strong understanding of service provider network, IP routing, and forwarding.
  • Ability to work without supervision and in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNP/CCIE or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of EVPN-VPWS, EVPN-ELAN, VXLAN BGP-EVPN.
  • Experience of managing Cisco NCS 5000, 5500, 8200, and ASR9000 platforms.
  • Experience of using Grafana, Observium, and network automation using Python, Ansible.
