Career Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate employment support specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with participants to help them achieve their employment-related goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to participants in various employment-related activities.
- Assist participants in developing their work skills and capacity through on-the-job training and other activities.
- Explore employment opportunities and assist participants in preparing for work life.
- Support participants in travel training, including navigating public transportation.
- Help participants develop resumes and cover letters and prepare for mock interviews.
- Collaborate with the Employment Coordinator to develop personalized support plans for each participant.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in an employment services environment.
- A valid driver's license.
- A Working with Children Check.
- An NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
