Electronics Repair Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to join our service department.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics repair and maintenance, with strong analytical and technical skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing measurement equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and soldering and repairing electronic components.

You will also assist in assembling and testing optical components and beam delivery systems, as well as documenting and producing detailed service and repair reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair measurement equipment for calibration
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service in accordance with service manuals
  • Solder and repair to component level (electronic)
  • Assemble and test optical components and beam delivery systems
  • Document and produce detailed service and repair reports

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma: Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Chemistry or Physics

Competencies:

  • Analytical thinking
  • Technical skills
  • Troubleshooting electrical devices
  • Soldering and performing electrical device repairs
