Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious labourer to join our infrastructure services team. As a Civil Construction Worker, you will be responsible for providing labouring duties associated with roads and drainage maintenance and construction in the Whitsunday region.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in a dynamic environment and contributing to the delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate plant and trucks in accordance with manufacturer requirements and Workplace Health and Safety legislation
  • Identify plant or truck defects and complete defect identification forms accurately
  • Work effectively and productively with limited supervision
  • Carry out general labouring duties, including vegetation control, road maintenance and construction drainage activities, concrete works, and small plant operation
  • Implement traffic management requirements (including traffic guidance schemes and traffic management plans)
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Class MR or HR/HC Driver's licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • General Construction Safety Induction (White card)
  • Traffic Control (or willingness to obtain)
  • Traffic Management Implementation (or willingness to obtain)
  • Agriculture Chemical Distribution and Control (or willingness to obtain)
  • Provide First aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
