As a Civil Construction Worker, you will be responsible for providing labouring duties associated with roads and drainage maintenance and construction in the Whitsunday region.
Key Responsibilities- Operate plant and trucks in accordance with manufacturer requirements and Workplace Health and Safety legislation
- Identify plant or truck defects and complete defect identification forms accurately
- Work effectively and productively with limited supervision
- Carry out general labouring duties, including vegetation control, road maintenance and construction drainage activities, concrete works, and small plant operation
- Implement traffic management requirements (including traffic guidance schemes and traffic management plans)
- Essential: Class MR or HR/HC Driver's licence (or willingness to obtain), General Construction Safety Induction (White card), Traffic Control (or willingness to obtain), Agriculture Chemical Distribution and Control (or willingness to obtain), Provide First aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Desirable: High Risk licence Forklift, Operational Competency in Plant Operation for Roller, Backhoe, Grader, Bobcat (Skid Steer), Certificate III in Civil Construction (or willingness to obtain)
