Job Title: Infrastructure Operations Manager

As an Infrastructure Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing daily infrastructure operations, overseeing asset maintenance, implementing service standards, and managing contractual obligations.

You will serve as a trusted operational leader, delivering exceptional infrastructure services in line with established service standards. The successful candidate will have the ability to provide operational leadership for infrastructure management, develop and implement levels of service and operations plans, handle customer requests per policy and service standards, and support achievement of corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership for infrastructure management.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor levels of service and operations plans in alignment with asset management principles and resource needs.
  • Handle customer requests per policy and service standards, ensuring timely and consistent regional response.
  • Lead negotiations and management of contracts with government agencies.
  • Support achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Deliver technical advice to senior executives.
  • Supervise team members with clear direction and visible leadership, ensuring consistent communication and service delivery across the region.
Requirements

Essential

  • Proven highly developed managerial and supervisory skills including the use of contemporary techniques such as team building, quality assurance, total quality management and time management.
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, including demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written ability as well as having a solution focused mindset.
  • A strategic and operational understanding of infrastructure management principles.
  • C Class 'Manual' Drivers Licence.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering or relevant experience in infrastructure management.
  • Construction white card.

Desirable

  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
  • Understanding of industry specific programs ie REFLECT
