Academic Guidance Specialist

The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors offers a permanent full-time position as Course Advisor for its Allied Health programs.
As Course Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding course enquirers through course options and enrolment procedures. Your consultative approach will foster growth and development among potential students.
This role entails:
- Responding promptly to enquiries from prospective students via phone or email.
- Establishing strong relationships with course enquirers while cultivating effective communication and dialogue.
- Meeting customer needs whilst achieving key performance areas (KPAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will collaborate closely with a supportive team and receive training. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though occasional adjustments between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM may be required.
Required Skills and QualificationsA successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential for building relationships with course enquirers.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a consultative approach to problem-solving.
