Lead Café Operations

Join our vibrant team as a Café Manager to drive exceptional customer service and deliver outstanding results.

As a key member of our café team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, including staff management, stock control, and customer service. You will also play a vital role in managing cash handling procedures, leading and motivating the store team, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming café environment that reflects our brand values.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within a fast-paced café or fast food restaurant environment with barista skills. They will possess strong leadership and people management skills, experience in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular stocktakes, and excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily café operations, including staff management, stock control, and customer service.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including secure counting and reconciliation during opening and closing shifts.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the store team to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members, ensuring they are well-versed in store processes and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming café environment that reflects our brand values.
  • Regularly report store performance, operational issues, and feedback to the Area Manager.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness in accordance with internal procedures and HACCP standards.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within a fast-paced café or fast food restaurant environment with barista skills.
  • Completion of a Food Safety Supervisor course in NSW.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor food safety plans (HACCP).
  • Experience in rostering and having a strong understanding of awards.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular stocktakes.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational abilities.
