About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assessor to join our team at the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. As a Quality Assessor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that aged care services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to aged care services to assess provider performance and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Collect and analyze evidence to record performance, audit, and assessment findings in written reports.
- Identify and escalate risk and issues to the Team Leader.
- Contribute to well-reasoned and accurate reports for a delegate, which may be published, following an assessment of the quality of care and services provided by a service.
- Undertake visits to aged care services across each state and territory, including visiting communities where aged care services are provided.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
- Ability to travel regularly, including overnight stays.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary range of $83,281 - $90,026 per annum.
- 15.4% superannuation.
- Ongoing/Non-Ongoing roles available, with the possibility of extension.
