The Religious Education Coordinator position involves overseeing the delivery of a comprehensive curriculum that fosters critical thinking, moral responsibility, and empathy in students. This role is responsible for guiding school liturgies, social justice initiatives, and faith-based programs to promote a culture of compassion and respect.
This temporary appointment aims to replace an employee on leave and provide continuity in educational services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a rich and engaging Religious Education curriculum that promotes academic excellence and character development.
- Design and lead liturgies, social justice initiatives, and faith-based programs that nurture a school culture of inclusivity, respect, and integrity.
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching degree.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a practicing Catholic.
- Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest.
- Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Policy.
